ZOE CLARK has trained with several make up brands and is a great make up artist. She has worked with MAC at Harvey Nichols and also with Make up Forever when she moved over here. Then Zoe decided to spread her fantastic wings and go freelance, she has been a make-up artist for the last 12 years and has built up a great credit list.
Christmas Make-up Looks
First look - Glitz & Glamour
. When you're a bit younger you can afford to be a bit more adventurous with colour.
. Glitters - If you put glitter onto dry eyeshadow it will only fall off. The glitter has to have something to stick on to. Either put on a cream eyeshadow, use vaseline or the 8 hr cream if you are applying it all over the lid However there are products on the market that have glitter in them ie. the eyeliner pencils or the glitter pots with creams
. If you are using glitter on the eye don't put it on your cheek bone as well unless you want to look like you're going to a fancy dress party as the Christmas Fairy!
. Cream blusher - Put it on the apple of the cheek with your fingertips.
. Lipgloss - Use a lip-liner to stop it from bleeding and to increase your lip pout.

. This look is all about black and white. You need a good quality eyeshadow and Good brushes
. Always make sure your lips are prepped well before you use a matte lipstick as they can dry out the lips use the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour or another lipbalm

Look 3: The Mature Model
. When working on a more mature skin avoid using too much powder over the foundation as skin may become dry and chalky looking which can be very ageing.
. Absolutely avoid using frosted or shiney eyeshadows as again they can show up wrinkles
. Use a soft ivory pencil in the inner eye before applying the eye-shadow to get rid of any redness.
. Soft browns applied in the socket first can warm up a grey eyeshadow.
. Invest in a good matte eyeshadows and a socket eyeshadow brush to make the application easy
. Always work from the outside in when applying powder eyeshadow
. Keep the area around the tear duct shadow free and apply a bit of the base eyeshadow there, to brighten the eyes
. Be careful not to use too much shadow, if any at all, underneath the mature eye, as it can pull the eye down
. Where to apply the powder blush (make sure you have concealed any broken capilaries first before applying the blusher).
. The general rule is if you go dark on the eyes keep the lips paler in colour so as not to overdo the look.
