Planespotting: 747

This programme documents the first transatlantic flight made by Aer Lingus with the Boeing 747 - the Jumbo Jet.  At the time Cathal O'Shannon, reporting for Newsbeat, goes on board and checks out the wisdom of a country as small as Ireland investing in such state of the art, monster planes, especially as this programme was filmed in 1971 - a time when "the troubles" in Northern Ireland were having a serious effect on tourism here.
