Previously a judge on the first series of Super Garden, Mary Reynolds now returns in the capacity of mentor. She will guide 5 amateur designers through the process of designing and completing their unique gardens.
Mary Reynolds, the only Irish winner ever of a Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal, started her landscape design company in 1997.
As a result of her Chelsea victory in 2002, the British Government commissioned Mary to design a garden for the world-famous Botanical Gardens at Kew in London. The result was Mary's homage to W.B Yeats, her 'Stolen Child' garden.
Since then Mary has done makeovers for the BBC and RTÉ. She's been featured by CNN in a programme about designers with a spiritual dimension. Mary is Prince Charles favourite designer and she has also been listed on the BBC's website as one of the Top 3 influential designers. (www.bbc.co.uk/gardening/design/designers/mary_reynolds.shtml)
Mary is passionate about sustainable landscape design. She creates landscapes that are sculptural, healing and inspiring. She is equally comfortable with large-scale public commissions or private garden projects.
She's quirky, sexy and not afraid to hold back on her words...
