The "Summer Pride" series was originally made and transmitted in 1995.
In it RTÉ travelled the length and breadth of the country visiting GAA clubs big and small, interviewing local commentators; trainers and players - many of whom have become the GAA stars of today.
In the Glen Rovers programme for instance a little known young talented Figian lad called Séan Óg Ó Hailpín spoke about how he got first got interested in GAA!
