Hi guys! My name's Leann Constant and I live in Douglas in Cork with my lovely family. I'm nineteen years old and I'll be 20 on the 6th April - remember that one! I'm a student studying Commerce and German in UCC. The place is like a little town. I love college life. When I'm not at a lecture and studying I love just meeting some friends for a cup of coffee and a chat. I really enjoy being at college here. I'm working part time in Oasis in town. I love fashion and I've worked in retail for quite a while so I enjoy it.
I love meeting up with friends and chatting or going out. They are my arms and legs really. I love Languages too; I want to speak them all. J'adore parler des autres langues!!! I speak German, French and Irish and I'm working on my Turkish at the moment. I go there every summer and I love the place. I also love karaoke (oh yeah!), driving, Cappuccino, unexpected texts, getting letters, photos, hugs, joking, Seth Cohen, Ralph perfume, music, memories, strawberry cheesecake ice cream, free texts and calls!, doing stupid things / being crazy in general (one life!) surprises, and being spontaneous!
Music is...... my boyfriend! I would be lost without it. I don't really have a favourite artist. I enjoy music for what it is and not where it comes from. My musical influences are modern and old. My grandparents always sang to me - any excuse for a sing song, and because of this I am a huge fan of the all time legendary greats like Frank Sinatra. I of course, in turn, love Michael Buble!!!!!!! I like indie, jazz, pop, rock, soul, RnB you name it, I'm sure to like it!! I like a song for the lyrics and the music - not if it's jazz or rock. Loving a bit of the seventies with a hairbrush in front of the mirror, you know?!?! I don't really have a favourite song but I have a lot of songs which mean a lot to me. Another song of choice at the moment for me is Valerie by Amy Winehouse. I preformed it at bootcamp in the Ballyknockan Inn and it was my most enjoyable performance ever. I'll never forget it.
As hard as it is to admit my favourite You're A Star judge is Brendan. I know all the judges are fantastic but as a mentor in bootcamp Brendan really helped us all. I really think this guy knows his stuff, after all who better to judge you than a listener of music. He's also a Cork man so I mean - support your team you know!
I'm absolutely delighted I got this far but I don't want to go home yet. I've wanted to perform ever since I could stand and I sang before I could speak!!! I really don't want to go home yet!!! Please please please keep me in the show by voting for me.......like!!!
See ya around Cork
