Trevor has had the advantage of being involved in various aspects of the family company’s business since his earliest years, from cutting fabrics in the workroom, driving the vans, delivering furniture and fitting curtains in clients’ homes, to his current position in the design studio. His extensive design portfolio includes a diverse range of traditional, classic, modern and cutting edge contemporary interiors, and even a few exteriors.
Trevor’s Concept:
“I'm following the brief of a young family / people moving from a flat to a house. Keeping everything fresh, vibrant, dramatic and fun. The style is relatively modern, with cubist influences, yet with asyemmetric shapes retaining an overall organic feel. The general concept is individualistic rather than based in a specific style period. The colour palette is intense and exciting with a lot of high contrast and strong shades of bright red and lime green throughout the home, with a slightly more subdued and elegant master bedroom that uses several design features to give a youthful and trendy atmosphere.
“To give it a tag line, I think simply funky suits it best.”
