Relative Values
It's Tuesday, and that means we're discussing Relative Values. The sons of Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin and Nóirín Ní Riain Irish pop group Size2shoes are: Eoin, a 28 year old singer, songwriter and a Master of Peace Research who specialises in refugees in Ireland and Moley - a 24 year old singer/songwriter and Master of Ethnomusicology specialising in rap music in Ireland.
Size2shoes are the biggest upcoming act on the Irish acoustic music scene. Two brothers, from Limerick, that write songs under the shelf title of 'Inspirational Pop'. Tunes that are about real stuff with some fresh lyrics, in a non-preachy way.

Not Enough Hours
Feel like you are on a non-stop tread mill?! Eager to hang onto jobs, people are now working longer hours then ever. The other side is people who have found themselves newly unemployed with too much time on their hands. But just how do we achieve the perfect balance, and mange are time in the most efficient, productive way? To offer advice, we are joined by the presenter of RTE's Not Enough Hours - psychologist and psychotherapist Owen Fitzpatrick. With Owen is one of the programme's case studies- farm owner from Co. Westmeath, Diana Pickersgill. Diana owns the farm which is running at a loss. If it doesn't start making money soon she will lose it. She has lots of plans but no organisational skills to prioritise or put them into operation

Make Lists: To do list- This list may have about twenty tasks that a person wants to achieve, and can be added to over time
Closed List- This is a list of tacks that need to be undertaken and completed in a given day. This list should not be edited by adding or subtracting tasks on it.

Write it out: Whatever you have to do write it out.
People carry far too much around in their heads. This causes stress and burnout because we are desperately trying not to forget everything. Writing it out allows you to get it out of your head so you free up thinking space. It also makes things clearer and easier to prioritize as they are recorded in front of you.

Break things down: If you are faced with a huge project or sizable task that seems unmanageable or quite daunting- break it down. By breaking it down into manageable sizes it can be taken on piece by piece. Giving yourself rewards along the way is also a good idea.

Prioritise: Be practical and plan ahead in general terms for the future- Be aware of where you want to go, but remember to take time out for important things such as family, recreational time, etc
List out all of your activities and the things you need to do and categorize which of them are urgent and important. Many people spend far too much time on the activities that are not all that important.

Positive Ageing Week Photography Competition:
Older people often suffer from the negative stereo-type that they are ill and frail. But the reality is very different. Elderly people are the very fabric of our society. Older people are often at the heart of communities, as volunteers in sports and social organisations, as grandparents looking after children, and as pillars of society who have contributed so much in the past and continue to contribute.
This is the seventh year Age Action has marked UN International Day of Older Persons. The week-long event seeks to highlight that ageing is something to be celebrated, rather than feared. In addition to events organized by older people's groups, it is an opportunity for communities to celebrate the contribution which older people have made and continue to make.
As part of positive ageing week photographers - from professionals and keen amateurs, to weekend snappers - are being offered the chance to try and bag a luxury shopping break in Dublin, and help promote Ireland's largest celebration of positive ageing.
The theme of the competition is to "Capture the Energy of Life" and its aim is to capture positive images of ageing and older people in your community.
The winning entry will be used to publicise Positive Ageing Week. The best entries will also form part of an exhibition which will tour Ireland.
