SAPS back to the future

Our sophisticated scientists try their most ambitious experiment ever – to propel a potato snack into the future. They list their influences as Einstein’s theory of relativity – and of course, the film Back to the Future.

Many scientists believe that if an object can be made to move faster than the speed of light, the possibility of time travel could become a reality. Scientists have been trying experiments to make objects move faster than the speed of light for many years.

The SAPS scientists don’t have a fast machine like a rocket at their disposal, so they try a couple of other high-speed methods of propelling the crisp. The aim is to get the crisp to travel faster than 300,000km per second, the actual speed of light.

During the experiment’s final stages, the crisp disappears – does this mean there be crisps in the future?
