KERRY - COLLEEN SHANNON
Colleen is 21 and a student of Interactive Media at IT Tralee. Now living in Killarney, Colleen has lived at 5 addresses so far in her life as Dad, Joe, is a Bank Manager!
A talented performer with a classically trained voice, Colleen is a member of the Irish Youth Choir and Killarney Musical Society. She toured Australia with the Irish Rugby Team to sing “Ireland’s Call” before each game; toured Korea & Malaysia with “Dance of Desire” and toured France with “Spirit of Ireland” and performed regularly at Killarney’s INEC with “Dance on the Moon”.
In any spare time when not studying or performing, Colleen enjoys working out in the gym, family events, an evening at the cinema, photography and watching football. The Kerry Rose admits to enjoying shopping and her favoured performer would be Andrea Bocelli, someone she would love to meet.
Colleen describes herself as “outgoing, friendly and professional in my approach, with overall respect for myself and others around me. I am a good communicator and listener, I try to see the best in everything and be able to smile along the way”.
