BOSTON & NEW ENGLAND - CAITLIN SULLIVAN
Caitlin is 26 and works within the Development & Alumni Relations department of Buckingham Browne & Nichols School in Cambridge, Mass where her role involves supporting the fundraising staff through research and processing of gifts.
A graduate in Political Science from UMass-Amherst, a course of study that included time at Trinity College Dublin and Queen’s University Belfast, Caitlin loves her job, “it’s very rewarding to help raise money for such talented students and I would like to continue a career in educational fund raising”.
Yoga, figure skating, hockey, swimming and working out at the gym are among Caitlin’s hobbies and she is a certified Water Safety Instructor.
Playing the piano and singing are also ways for her to relax. This Rose likes “the smell of rain, snow storms, summertime on Cape Cod, coffee in the morning and mashed potatoes”. Turnoffs include alarm clocks and Boston parking tickets! “I really love 80’s music, Madonna, George Michael and Cyndi Lauper. I also like to listen to The Saw Doctors, Gwen Stefani and Coldplay”. Caitlin’s Irish roots are counties Cork, Limerick and Kerry and she has visited Ireland many times.
“I love Boston because not only am I surrounded by family and friends, but it’s such a great city for a young adult to work and live in” Caitlin says of her hometown.
