Quick and easy snacks
Roast garlic bread
SERVES 6
175g (6oz) butter
6-8 cloves of garlic, crushed or
grated
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 baguette
Preheat the oven to 230°C/450°F/
gas 7. In a saucepan, melt the butter,
then add the garlic and chopped
parsley. Cut the baguette
horizontally and generously
brush the melted garlic butter over
the cut sides. Put on a baking tray
and place in the hot oven for 8-10
minutes or until toasted and golden
brown. This freezes perfectly, but
don't roast it first.
