Quick and easy snacks
Chicken wings
SERVES 4 - 6
40 chicken wings
50 ml (2 fl oz) sweet chilli sauce
30 ml (1 fl oz) soy sauce
4 tablespoons fresh coriander
2-4 tablespoons sesame seeds
(optional)
Remove the wing tip first and
discard, or else save for stock.
Then divide the two joints. For a
really fast sauce, toss the wings in
enough sweet chilli sauce to coat,
then place them in a single layer on
a baking tray and cook at
200°C/400°F/gas 6 for 25 minutes.
Take them out of the oven and add
another good drizzle of sweet chilli
sauce and a small drizzle of soy
sauce. Give them a little toss and
put them back in the oven for
another 5-10 minutes or until
cooked. Take out of the oven,
scatter fresh coriander leaves over
the top and serve.
NOTE: You could scatter some
toasted sesame seeds over them,
too, when they are cooked.
