Dead Cat Bounce - Work

Monday 5th January

The first in the series is a sketch show called Work written by and featuring Dead Cat Bounce. It spans a day in the life of a bizarre corporate office building, where stockbrokers are forced to dispose of a dead hooker, a bored worker escapes reality into hip-hop music videos, love songs are unexpectedly graphic, and a xenophobic spymaster watches their every move.

One of the most exciting live acts to emerge from Ireland in recent years, Dead Cat Bounce's unique blend of sketch comedy and blistering musical performances won them critical acclaim, playing to packed houses at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Bulmers International Comedy Festival and London's Big Joke Festival. Now, less than a year after their first live show, they make their TV debut.

Directed by D.A.D.D.Y, one of Ireland's most talented and innovative directing teams, and produced by Red Jam Porductions, Dead Cat Bounce promises to be clever, quirky, and unlike anything seen on RTÉ before.

Dead Cat Bounce consist of writer/performers Shane O'Brien, Mick Cullinan, Demian Fox, James Walmsley as Steve Hardcastle.
