Dubliner Mike Meegan, a doctor and scientist, has spent the past 25 years working in tribal villages in Africa where life is a daily battle against poverty, suffering and some of the most deadly diseases on earth.
The poverty, the disease and the many deaths which he saw when he lived among the nomadic Massai people shocked him to the core and within months he had decided to spend the rest of his life using his medical skills to help save lives and reduce suffering in Kenya.
With the support of three other Dublin-based doctors Mike founded an Aid agency. This heart felt documentary follows them as they set themselves the task of training Africans to tackle their country's problems.
