4 x 40 mins
For four months in 2003, Irish American stand-up comic Des Bishop travelled around Ireland doing a succession of low paying jobs. From serving kebabs to packing shelves, Bishop totally immersed himself in a life at the bottom of the wage ladder. This programme which is reality TV with a hard-hitting social conscience is part fly-on-the-wall and part stand-up performance.
