The Rose of Tralee

The 52nd International Rose of Tralee Selection will be broadcast live from the festival dome on Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd August.

Dáithí O Sé will present the hugely popular television event for the second time and will interview 32 roses over the two nights.

Last year a peak of over one million (1,074, 500)* viewers tuned in to RTÉ One to see Clare Kambamettu, the 26-year-old assistant psychologist London Rose, originally from Athy Co Kildare, crowned as the 52nd Rose of Tralee.

An average 916,300 viewers watched the final show after RTÉ's Nine O'Clock News, the highest number in over a decade.

Tune to find out which of the 32 Roses will be selected as the 53rd Rose of Tralee.

The event will be broadcast on RTÉ One on Monday and Tuesday evening from 8pm with a break for the Nine O'Clock News.

Please note that new photos of Dáithí and the 2011 Roses will be available on Presspack on Tuesday afternoon August 16th.
