In and Out in Half an Hour

Every half hour, Monday to Friday, couples walk through the door of the Dublin Registry Office on Grand Canal Street - to get married. People of all colour, creed, age and nationality choose a Registry Office civil wedding ceremony for different reasons. Some are being married for a second time, some want a less expensive 'day out' and some simply do not want a religious ceremony.
In and Out in Half an Hour is a 40 minute, fly-on-the-wall RTÉ TV documentary looking at the people and stories of Dublin's Registry Office, from brides and grooms to the staff who work there.
The Registry Office is a hub of emotion as families join for that very special day of marriage. In and Out in Half an Hour provides a glimpse of Ireland in 2010-one that isn't duty-bound by tradition or religion but where love still reigns supreme.as long as bride and groom are in and out within the half hour.
