Immatürity For Charity

This Christmas, some of the best actors and film crew in Ireland have come together for a
sketch-show comedy special in aid of St Francis Hospice, Raheny. Immatürity for Charity
features a whole host of Ireland's top thespians including Domhnall Gleeson, Brendan
Gleeson, Amy Huberman, Robbie Sheehan, Hugh O'Conor, Brian Gleeson, David Wilmot
and many more. Their mission; to embarrass themselves with pride and embrace their
immature side in comedy sketches that aim to raise money and awareness for the hospice.

Helmed by IFTA award winning TV & Film director John Butler, this comedy special features
fundraising appeals, with the hope of raising some much-needed funds for a charity reliant on the help of the public to continue its exceptional work. But it doesn't stop there. The laughs will move online, as more than 20 sketches will be released on the web to be shared, tweeted and liked as the fundraising goes viral.

Over 50 of Ireland's most recognized and acclaimed actors, writers, producers and film crew all donated their time and talent to create the sketches for the hospice.
Established in 1989, St Francis' Hospice has provided a specialist palliative care service without charge, treating patients with advanced stages of illnesses such cancer, motor neuron disease and HIV/AIDS In addition to the Hospice in Raheny, a new, much-needed hospice has been built in Blanchardstown, but its 24 bedded in-patient unit lies empty and unused. It is fully operational, it's ready to open its doors and care for people who need its help, but it cannot afford to do so.

With the economic downturn, funding has been cut significantly, putting the hospice in a very difficult financial situation.
Immatürity For Charity puts the fun back in fundraising, the.do back in the donations and the eh...good back in good cause.
