Pinky

The name Pinky recently started popping up on music listings but the man himself remains a mystery. We don't know much about him, but what we do know is that he hasn't been part of the Dublin music circut for that long.

Once upon a time he was, apparently, an angelic young cathedral chorister with a striking voice. After eight years of classical training, he embarked on experiments in sound production with what he considered to be essential tools - a Casio, that cost €50, and a karaoke machine.

With a little help from the Internet, Pinky absorbed jazz and blues, soul and funk, folk, psychedelic pop and computer music before eventually deciding that he wanted to create his own unique sound. After spending three summers in a row in Thailand he's come back with a handful of songs. Ladies and gentlemen, let us present... Pinky.
