Long time violinist, keyboard player and vocalist with The Frames, Mac Con Iomaire released his debut solo album in autumn 2008.

Entitled 'The Hare's Corner (Cúinne an Ghiorria)', the album features eleven instrumental tracks merging the traditional with the classical.

The fluent Irish speaker also currently tours with The Swell Season - Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova's Academy award winning project.
