Kathleen Edwards
Kathleen Edwards released her second album, 'Back To Me', in March 2005. 'Back to Me' is the Canadian's first album to be released in Ireland on Independent Records and features 11 new songs that cover an ambitious range of themes, styles and emotions. Born in Ottawa, 26-year-old Edwards was hailed by Rolling Stone as one of the finest and most distinctive singers to emerge in 2003. Her 10-song debut album 'Failer' earned her guest spots on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' and 'Late Night with David Letterman'.

Ben Christophers
Ben Christophers has come a long way since his humble beginnings in Wolverhampton. With two critically acclaimed albums under his belt - 'My Beautiful Demon' and 'Spoonface' - he is back and wooing the critics and fans once again with his third offering, the beautiful and seductive new album 'The Spaces in Between'. From the sweetly sinister 'Flowers Drink Upon The Ground' and the shimmering simplicity of 'Devil to Kill', to the laid back, happy-go-lucky feel of 'Good Day for the Hopeless', the album resonates with life, passion and emotional depth.

James Yorkston & The Athletes
Since the release of his debut album, 'Moving Up Country', James Yorkston and his band The Athletes have built up a substantial following in Ireland. Described as "folky without ever being fuddy", the album showcased Yorkston's tales of love and longing, wrapped up in his inspired guitar playing and a delicate and intimate sound. The record's quiet intensity was bettered by the follow-up 'Just Beyond the River', released in September 2004.
