Saso
Our first band tonight are Saso. Based around the dual talents of architect Jim Lawler and studio expert Ben Rawlins, they released 'I Can Do Nice', their second album of lush yet low-key soundscapes last year. Having previously kept their identities under wraps, they have recently begun playing live shows.
The Mark Lanegan Band
As a solo artist, singer with Queens of the Stone Age and former frontman of The Screaming Trees, Mark Lanegan is one of the most distinctive voices in American music. He released his new album 'Bubblegum' last year and tonight he performs tracks from a record which has been greeted with the same acclaim as all his previous work.
Declan O'Rourke
Over the last five years Dubliner Declan O'Rourke has made a place for himself amongst the elite of Ireland's singer-songwriter talent. His debut album, 'Since Kyabram', entered the Irish charts in November 2004 and has already gone gold in Ireland. He recently played his first headline show at Dublin's Olympia Theatre.
