  • Listen to how you speak to yourself. Whenever you hear yourself doubting yourself repeat the doubts in an exaggerated, ridiculous voice. Overdo them so they become silly and that will associate stupidity with the doubts.
  • Whenever you speak encouragingly or positively to yourself, use a sensible and intelligent tone of voice to do so. Follow the statements with a 'because' and evidence as to why it is true.
  • Figure out how many hours you need to work in order to survive ok and allocate those hours to work. Include hours which will be required to get business as well.
  • Create a timetable from these allocated hours and account for everything in your work and personal life. Create variety if you need to but keep the timetable structured and consistent.
  • Ask for help. By doing so you are doing the other person a favour and letting them have a rewarding feeling that comes with giving a hand to others.
  • Sell Yourself.
  • Be Specific. Explain things to people rather than using fluffy words. What is in this for me? Answer this question for everyone you speak to.
  • Keep it Simple. Avoid jargon and make your pitch easy to understand for everyone.
