Maneewan Rutledge, a busy mom and professional masseuse from Thailand, has left the organised chaos of Bangkok and moved to the salubrious suburbs of Dublin 6. Nestled amongst the mocha bars and Michelin Star restaurants of Ranelagh, she and her husband Brian have started up the thriving 'Thai Well Massage'. Bob first meets Manee while undergoing a rather strenuous backcracking under her expert hands. She explains how she came to live in Dublin and how Brian stole her heart.

Bob then travels back to Bangkok where Manee worked for years in the textile industry. Here he meets Manee's kid sister and her brother who is a local Pastor. Then after sampling the heady and hedonistic sights and sounds of the Khaosan Road, Bob travels to North East Thailand, to meet Manee's Dad. Manee grew up in a rural part of Thailand called Sakon Nakhon. Here Bob plays Manee's video message as well as helping with the busy rice harvest. Later he travels into the mountains with Manee's Dad searching for natural remedies and herbs which he says are better then any doctor. Finally Bob returns to Dublin with a message for an emotional Maneewan.
