Neven continues his sojourn in Sligo this week where he meets Lindy and Simon O'Hara of Coopers Hill House in Riverstown, and for his main course prepares Venison Steaks with Plums.
"I love venison and think it's vastly underrated. I've used fillet steaks in this menu as they are by far superior to any other cut" says Neven. "For hundreds of years, venison was storede by burying it underground - but thankfully these days it is stored or hung in much the same way as beef!"
Neven starts this week's menu with delicious Sticky Beef Skewers and ends with an irresistibly described pudding of 'the best ever Irish Coffee Mint Chocolate Truffles'.
