Daithi O Se and Rita Talty are back from their honeymoon and discuss married life and this year's Rose of Tralee. Eilis O' Carroll (Brendan O' Carrolls sister) star of Mrs Brown's boys talks about coming out at 50 after two marriages and two kids. This week Miriam is joined by Thelma Madine and three of the gypsy girls from Thelma's Gypsy Girls. In Channel 4's Thelma's Gypsy Girls. Former Washington Correspondent and Primetime Presenter Mark Little will be reunited with Miriam again for one night only and discuss his new business venture Storyful and life since RTE.
Dr. Maurice Nelligan junior and Pat Nelligan son and widow of the late Maurice Nelligan will remember the pioneering heart surgeon, activist newspaper columnist and media commentator who saved over 15,000 lives.

Coming up on Saturday Night with Miriam this week, comedian Jason Byrne is in to talk about the Iveagh Comedy festival and what he's up to now. Weather is the most discussed topic everywhere at the moment and to celebrate Fifty years of Weather and highlight RTE's documentary 'Weather Permitting' we will be chatting to Gerald Fleming, Audrey McGrath & Nuala Carey. We have an exclusive interview with Mary Davis as she reflects on her experience on standing for the Presidency campaign in 2011 and life afterwards. We also have a boxing panel of Bernard Dunne, Jimmy Magee & Kenneth Egan discussing Ireland's preparation for the London Olympics 2012 and our medal prospects. This week on Saturday Night with Miriam, eight time champion Jockey Ruby Walsh and his wife Gillian on the highs and lows of his career and their family life. TV presenter Laura Whitmore discusses her dream life in London, The Olympics, dating a rockstar and the TV project thats bringing her home. Miriam gets personal with Deputy Eamon Ó Cuív who recently crossed swords with his Party Leader Micheal Martin. 33 years ago this month Do you want your old lobby washed down Con shine was no. 1 in the charts and the Irish Rambling man Brendan Shine will be in studio to perform this live with Eamon Campbell from the Dubliners on keyboards.

Programme 2 - Saturday, 7th July 2012
Coming up on the show this week, Miriam is joined on the couch by Chef Neven Maguire and his wife Amelda and 5 month old baby twins Connor and Lucia make their first live television appearance. Miriam will chat to Ireland's most successful children's Author Eoin Colfer about his blockbuster series, Artemis Fowl has sold over 25 million copies and been translated into 44 different languages. The last book in the series is being published this Tuesday and already one million copies have been printed for the US market alone. Last October, the voice we all love to wake up to in the morning Aine Lawlor announced on Morning Ireland that she would be taking time off to undergo medical treatment. This week she returns to the airwaves Cancer Free Aine chats to Miriam about her battle with Cancer. Legends John Giles and Eamonn Dunphy talk about a friendship that goes back over fifty years. They've fallen out, made up again and tomorrow they get up close and personal with Miriam. Ireland's much loved country band The Three Amigos will be entertaining us and also share a surprise announcement.

Coming up on the first show of the season of Saturday Night with Miriam this week, Martin McGuinness will be discussing his historic meeting with the Queen this week, sports commentator Bill O Herlihy will be talking about the summer of sports ahead of us and what the future holds for him, Sonia O Sullivan and Catherina McKiernan will be in talking about their career highlights so far and what they think of the upcoming athletes partaking in the Olympics this year and the legendary Leo Sayer will be in chatting to us about life in Australia and his music journey so far, he will also be performing "When I Need You".
