Mandy Scott (45) is from Dublin and is married with two children. She works as a P.A to CEO at a printing and publishing company.
Her father taught her to experiment and try anything, and to buy as many cook books as she could fit in her bookcase. Mandy would love to own and run a lunchtime cafe in Dublin 14, serving 3 dishes to perfection every day. She loves cooking Indian and Italian but is a good all rounder.
She got through to the audition round with her first dish of Roquefort cheese soufflé, poached pear and caramelised walnuts. Her audition dish was Vitello Tonnato, an Italian dish of cold, sliced veal covered with a creamy, mayonnaise-like sauce that has been flavoured with tuna.
