Truck driver John Ryan decides to adopt a different form of transport in order to bring a bit of romance to his proposal to girlfriend Alma.
Aspiring comic book artist Alma O'Carroll loves horses and John wants to include this in his proposal - naturally enough, by playing the role of Knight in Shining Armour. And, where better as a backdrop; than Adare Manor, Co. Limerick.
As Alma and her 2 best friends are busy taking part in an activity day in Adare involving fencing and archery; John is trying to calm last minute nerves and prepare to put his newly acquired horse-riding skills to the test.
For what they think is to be their 3rd activity, the girls are led to a wooded area by their 'guide', where Alma discovers an illustrated book: 'The Tale of Princess Alma'.
As she begins to read the book at the prompting of the others, in rides her Knight.
John dismounts, gets down on one knee and after declaring his love for her, asks her to marry him.
