Programme 4

Irish eyes are smiling as one woman pops the question at the St Patrick's Day parade.

To celebrate the fact that they got together on St. Patrick's Day, Victoria Heaphy decides to wow her French boyfriend Guillaume with a proposal on our national holiday.

With the help of his family - who have flown over from France as a surprise - a couple of stuntmen, and a Wonder Woman costume, Vicki steals the show at the St. Patrick's Day parade!

Victoria Heaphy wants to turn the tables on her French prankster boyfriend Guillaume by asking him the biggest question of his life.

They got together on March 17th a number of years ago, and with baby Maia going on a year, Vicki felt it was time to make an honest man out of Guillaume. When better to do it than on their anniversary - St. Patrick's day!

No point in doing this by half-measures. The St. Patrick's Festival organizers get on board and a plan evolves that will see Vicki stealing the show at the pre-parade. As Wonder Woman is her super-hero of choice, she decides she wants to propose in a Wonder Woman costume, with the help of batman (Guillaume's alter ego!)

As Guillaume doesn't get to see his family very often, they agree to come over to visit as a surprise and to take part in the parade.

On the day, Guillaume is innocently waiting for the parade to begin while Vicki pops off to the bathrooom. Before he knows it, his entire family; including his Grandmother; have appeared in front of him in full 'French' attire.

While he's still registering this, Wonder Woman appears, carried aloft on the shoulders of Batman and 2 gangsters.

Next thing, she's down on one knee, declaring her love for the astonished Frenchman, as she asks him the question 'Will you Marry Me?'
