Programme 2
Ken Mooney, a taxi driver from Dublin, is separated with two teenage sons Kevin and Sean. Having been in the army for 21 years Ken has a passion for war history and memorials and would love to run a campsite in France where he could give war memorial tours to his campers.
Ken and his sons travel to Bayeux in Normandy where Ken realises his dream of running a camp site but faces the challenge of drumming up business for his war memorial tours. Do the daily tasks of cleaning, parking, cooking and running a campsite live up to Ken's camping dream? Does he manage to discover a niche in the market for war tours or does he realise that perhaps not all campers are as passionate about war history as he is?
