Kathleen Beegan- Hanly and Mary Doherty are two middle-aged divorcees from the west of Ireland who reckon they have what it takes to run a boutique hotel in Spain having both run B&Bs in their day.
They go to Garrucha, a fishing village on the South East coast of Spain to discover if they still have the energy for the early mornings, the customer complaints, the endless breakfasts, lunches, dinners, cleaning... and the local men!
