Ryan Tubridy chats to former glamour model, Katie Price about her latest book and playing the media game. David Coleman discusses parenting and creches. Alexandra Burke performs her latest single.

Katie Price

Ryan's first guest of the evening is one of the most photographed and written about women in Britain, having started her career as a page three model she has literally turned herself into a one woman industry, promoting everything from her own perfume and jewellery to her collection of books.

Mike Denver/Liam O'Connor

This act brings together two of the most popular performers on the Irish circuit. One is a leading country singer who has dueted with the likes of George Jones and Hal Ketchum while the other has toured with shows such as Lord of The Dance. Together they performed "The Day of My Return"

David Coleman

He is a clinical psychologist whose shows look at the difficult task of raising children in modern Ireland. His latest series is called "21st Century Child" and it follows twelve Irish families over six years from the birth of their babies. 
Including all the sleepless nights, dirty nappies and unreasonable tantrums.

Alexandra Burke

X-Factor fever is gripping everyone at the moment and while all eyes are on the Grimes Twins from Dublin, Alexandra who is the current winner, has been topping the charts both here and in the UK. Indeed in recent weeks she's even kept Robbie Williams off the top spot. She sang her number 1 hit "Bad Boys".

Shane Ross

In the last number of years he has known to become somewhat of a scourge of the ruling classes. He has campaigned against the culture of waste and excess enjoyed by the privileged few and is credited with exposing the recent expenses scandal at FAS. He met Ryan to speak about his new book about the greed and collusion that brought our banking system to its knees.

Hypnotic Brass Ensemble

These eight brothers from Chicago approach to music was born from their father's love of Jazz blended with their own affection for hip hop. the results I think you'll agree are rather interesting. They performed "War".

Marian Keyes

This Irish author was once described as what happens when Sex in the City meets Mrs Doyle from Father Ted. She was brought up in Dublin but emigrated to London in the 1980s where she put her law degree to good use by working as a waitress. Now however she is an internationally famous best selling author whose work is available in 35 countries. not bad for a woman who describes herself as an "accidental novelist".

Jimmy Magee

He was born in New York but grew up in Co. Louth and began his career as a cub reporter in Radio Eireann in the 1950s. He is a household name who has covered every Olympic Games since 1972 and is reputed to never forget a name.
