Gabriel Byrne one of our finest actors with more than 35 movies under his belt joined Pat to speak of his much lauded career and his interest in humanitarian matters. He told Pat of his recent delight at bagging a Golden Globe for his performance as conflicted psychotherapist, Dr Paul Weston in HBO series, In Treatment. He spoke of his involvement with The Irish Hospice Foundation and how he believes "to die with dignity is a right, not a privilege." He also spoke passionately of his shock and devastation at the release of the Ryan abuse report and of his own personal abuse at the hands of the Christian brothers.

Over the past decade Pat has introduced many new artists. One of the best discovery's in recent times was a young Dublin singer Imelda May. Since she first appeared on the show earlier this year she has had a platinum album and a string of sold out concerts. Tonight she performs her new single 'Big Bad Handsome Man'.
The biggest band on the planet took time out from the rehearsals for their world tour to drop by the studio for a chat and a performance of their current single Magnificent.
Pat joined BLOOM medal winner Fiann O'Nuallain outside in the Late Late Show garden party. Growing your own food and gardening in general is enjoying a come back so Fiann brought Pat on a tour of the specially constructed Bloom garden. From hens and pigs to edible flowers and bees Fiann demonstrated what is possible in any suburban garden.
Some people have strange hobbies. But playing a piano takes balls!! Enjoy the amazing Piano Juggler as he shows Pat the alternative way to play an instrument.
Louis dropped by to thank Pat for his support over the years - from talking about the launch of both Boyzone and Westlife to telling many stories Louis told Pat and Imelda enjoyed a glass of wine by the BBQ.
