Irish citizen Martin Sheen is probably best known for his roles as President Jed Bartlet in the west wing or Captain Willard in Apocalypse Now but unlike many of his Hollywood peers, he does not hope that these will be his legacy. He has spent his career using the fame he accumulated as an actor to draw attention to many causes close to his heart. He talks to Pat about his political activism, his strong Catholic Faith and why he is in Ireland to honour one very special man.
