Depending on your outlook it was the worst or the best TV in years, sparking worldwide outrage after racist and bullying remarks among the housemates were broadcast by Channel 4. Jermaine Jackson, was one of the Big Brother housemates. He spoke to Pat Kenny about racism, Big Brother and his famous brother Michael.

TO SMACK OR NOT TO SMACK

Should smacking children be banned? The EU and the UN believe that smacking does serious harm and have told the Minister for Children to get his house in order and make it illegal to smack your children in Ireland.

SIR GERRY ROBINSON

Sir Gerry Robinson recently took on the impossible task to fix the British National Health Service. He was given one hospital, no money and six months to cut waiting lists and that is exactly what he did - by using good management techniques. So could this Donegal born businessman do the same for us?

KATE ADIE

Kate Adie has had a ring-side seat at the making of history and for three decades she reported from the world's war zones. The former Chief News Correspondent for the BBC spoke to Pat about truth and war. Kate was in Ireland to launch the "To Russia With Love" photo exhibition in St. Stephen's Green Shopping Centre, Dublin.

ANGELINE BALL AND LORCAN CRANITCH

Celebrated Irish actors Angeline Ball and Lorcan Cranitch are the stars of a new RTÉ country music drama "Trouble In Paradise". Pat got a little taste of their trouble.
