Last Saturday there was mayhem on the streets of Dublin as a fairly innocuous Unionist March descended into street violence and looting by so-called Republicans. In six weeks time our own Government has organised a March of 2,500 soldiers down Dublin's main thoroughfare to commemorate the Easter Rising, they will stop at the GPO for military honours. Have we lost the plot altogether? Are we inviting trouble? Or is it time to reinstate the Easter Parade to recognise and commemorate Pearse, Connolly, Plunkett as architects of Irish Independence? The topic was discussed by the Minister for Defence, Willie O'Dea; Lord Laird or Artigarvan of the UUP; Author and Historian Tim Pat Coogan and Irish Times columnist Fintan O'Toole.
There may be differences between the major religions, but believe it or not, they have one thing in common - they all believe in angels. Do you believe you have a Guardian Angel? Diana Cooper and Susan Phoenix do. These two women both claim to have seen angels and are authors and experts on the subject. Susan Phoenix also used a special camera to take a picture of Pat Kenny's aura.
