RTÉ's Celebrity Jigs 'n' Reels returns this year for the New Year's Eve party to end all parties with seven willing celebrities box-stepping and jigging their way to midnight all in the name of charity.
Broadcast from RTÉ studios in Donnybrook our seven celebrity dancers are: Jon Kenny from the D'Unbelievables RTÉ Sports Michael Lyster, Media darling Amanda Brunker, Eanna Ni Lamhna, 2FM's Damien Farrelly, Waterford Hurler and All Star Eoin Murphy and Fair City's Amy O'Sullivan who plays Beth Kenny who will all be dancing for St. Vincent de Paul.
Presenter Marty Whelan plus regular judges - Irish dancing supremos Jean Butler and Colin Dunne alongside rugby pundit George Hook - return for this very special show.
The first programme will be an hour long show broadcast on RTÉ One from 9.30pm with all seven celebrities performing with their professional dancing partner. The show then returns to ring in the New Year from 11.30pm with the top two celebrities battling it out for the top spot.
Also featured in the programme will be Irish Tenor Peter Corry, who came third in the series earlier this year, performing a number of songs, plus George Hook who will don top hat and tails for a very special performance!
Viewers will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite celebrity on the night with monies raised during the course of the show going directly to the contestant's nominated charities. Full voting details will be available closer to the show on this website and Aertel.
