Damian Farrelly
Farrelly's career first began when East Coast FM offered him his break having just graduated from Dun Laoighre Art and Design. He then moved a little closer to the city joining Dublin's FM104 where he stayed for 2 years.
His big break came in 2000 when RTÉ 2fm launched a new schedule. Having sent his demo into John Clarke, Farrelly got the chance to present overnights which then led to him presenting the Early Show from 6-7am. During this time, Damian was burning the candles at both ends, gigging until the wee hours in clubs all around town.
Eventually he was moved to the weekend slot on 2FM, followed by a stint on the lunchtime show from 12noon to 2pm. You can now catch Damian from 9.30 - midnight Mon to Thursday.
Damian lives in Meath with his wife and his two dogs, Tommy and Joey.
