Episode 6 starts with each group setting off cross-country for quite simply the best road trip of all time. Clocking up thousands of miles, freedom and discovery await as our J1ers get their kicks on the road to New Orleans on this essential American experience.
The Hawaiians have flown to San Francisco to kick off their roadtrip east. Under whelmed by San Fran the guys cheat by catching a train to Salt Lake City where they pick up their RV. Home for the next week, the RV is like driving a massive sofa bed across America. And it seems Agne was asleep at the wheel as she side swipes the car of a local insurance salesman in Kansas. Things can only get better for the Hawaiians.
On the other hand in San Diego the lads have no means of transport and have to resort to hitchhiking from California. Luke makes a sign saying "Heading East? Can we cum too?" which surprisingly works. On the road they pick up Daithi in New Mexico, visit Proinny's crazy girlfriend he met in Vegas & Luke is forced to hospital with a serious rash.
As usual, in Chicago the group is better organized as they rent a large passenger van that comfortably fits the eight of them including Gemma and Suzan's gigantic bags. Their trip starts on the most famous road of all Route 66. The gang prove to be a big hit with the local in an authentic honky tonk bar in Nashville but Susan has her eye on someone a lot closer to home.
From Memphis to Nashville, Amarillo to El Paso the three groups experience "real America" as they race to New Orleans.
