DUBROVNIK -  FEATURED PROPERTIES - BUYING PROPERTY IN DUBROVNIK - This Week - DUBROVNIK
In our final programme of Househunters in the Sun we meet Olive Butler, a qualified TEFL teacher who runs her own catering business and plans to make a permanent move to Croatia to set up a Bed and Breakfast with a difference!

Olive who is a keen sailor, hill walker and painter has long harboured a dream of moving to a warmer more relaxing climate to set up her own B& B. Olive's catering company caters for schools in the main, which means she has a lot of free time when the schools are closed. Now that all six of Olive's children are grown up she feels the time is right to start planning a permanent move.

With a budget of €100,000 Olive would love to buy a run down property that she could completely renovate with the help of her five grown up sons who are ready and willing to take an extended Croatian working holiday. Her dream is to provide an "alternative" holiday experience, which would include accommodation, sailing trips, hill walking, meditation- as well as the hot tub!

Olive has visited Croatia many times and has fallen in love with the area of Slano - 25km north of Dubrovnik. She has decided to base her search here. As she begins her search with our able presenter and architect Roisin Murphy, it is clear that property and site prices are a little more expensive than she had anticipated.

Will she find the perfect property to suit her budget? Would she prefer to buy a site and build a brand new property? Set in the beautiful Adriatic coast the final programme in the current series of House Hunters in the Sun is one not to be missed!
