MAUREEN GUTKIN & ROB  BURSLEM

Maureen is from Ireland and Rob is Welsh. Maureen is a partner in Price Waterhouse Cooper and Rob is an engineer – he works in the UK and commutes to and from Ireland at the weekends.

They are looking for a 3 bedroom house and would be prepared to do some work on it, but not too  much. They met while on holidays a few years ago. Between them they have four daughters from previous marriages, ranging in age from 20 to 24yrs. They say they would like to have somewhere where their girls will WANT to come and visit them.

They saw four properties on the island of Rhodes. Their initial budget was €250,000. They realised quite quickly that they would have to increase this as they wanted something literally on the beach.
