Sharon Lagan is a sales consultant for a hair dressing supply company and John Greaney runs his own successful corporate and event management company. With busy schedules their work takes them all over the country, so it's now time to locate their ideal base.
Sharon and John have been together for two years after they met while working in a Dublin night club, Sharon was the manager and John was the DJ. John is based in Portlaoise and Sharon has been living in Rathmines for the last six years, and now they feel it's time to buy a place of their own.
They've been actively looking since January and had found their dream home in Carragh but they were gazumped after the sale had been agreed. This has made them cautious about the property market and becoming too attached to any property.
Given the nature of their work a Dublin base is not essential but John would like easy access to the N7. Our search brings us to Naas, Carragh, Prosperous and Newcastle.
