Belle has a strong sense of justice and fairness, is passionate about her beliefs and when she fights, she fights until the end. Not one to take no for an answer – Belle is widely admired for her tenacity.
About her character Jessica says, “Belle is fantastic, she’s sassy and fun with quite a mouth on her! We have also seen a more vulnerable side to Belle with her romance with Aden this year and next year, we will see Belle go on a bit of a downward spiral which is a good challenge as an actor.”
Jessica’s favourite book is Catcher in the Rye and she spends her free time catching up with friends for coffee. Actors who inspire Jessica are Geoffrey Rush and Meryl Streep and she lists her favourite films as Romeo and Juliet, Y tu mamá también and Donnie Darko.
In 2008 Jess signed on as the Australian and New Zealand face of Sketchers sneakers.
Jessica’s dad is from New Zealand, a country she loves and has visited many times. She has travelled throughout Europe and can’t wait to go back. One day she’d love to live in Italy.
