Identical twin Audrey McCoy will go anywhere and do anything to hone her acting skills - even if this involves travelling back in time to the murky streets of 18th Century London. At one stage in her career Audrey spent the guts of a year in Madame Tussauds' notorious Chamber of Horrors, employed to scare the living daylights out of petrified patrons.
Born in Dublin, Audrey enjoyed five years of her childhood growing up in Denmark. Upon her return, she was fluent in Danish but struggled with English. Jumping this hurdle, she soon was in UCD studying English and German.
Upon graduation she trained in East 15 Acting School in London. Audrey lived in London for a couple of years and performed in mainly independent theatre and fringe productions, as well as doing tours of the counties. Back in Ireland in 2005 she started working on a feature documentary about Bram Stoker.
In 2006 Audrey played the lead role in a short film called 'Illegal', a tragic love story about a young Chechen immigrant surviving in London. Audrey has also toured nationally with The Talisman Theatre Company and performed in the chorus of Lyric Opera at the National Concert Hall.
