Larry is a delivery man by day, a cook by evening and the cornerstone of the Salman Rushdie Experience by night. In case you haven't seen them on YouTube that's a band. A 'bicycle shorts' wearing band.
Larry's first memory of food was trying to recreate the batter from a sausage he'd got at the chip shop. He failed. He also recalls the time he dropped a leg of lamb onto the dog's mat at Christmas. He didn't eat any...the dog that is.
Nowadays Larry is adept in the kitchen and loves working with fresh seafood landed off the coast of his hometown Waterford and thinks no meal is complete without a sticky, sweet dessert. No food fatwah needed here then.
Larry fell to Juyong Kim in the first round cook off but Kevin Dundon has seen something in him that he likes so Larry is back hoping that he can repay the trust. Larry is teh only one of the contestants who has not cooked in the HEAT Restaurant, but will that count against him...?
