John Donlon (Team Thornton)
John, 38, is married to Joan for the past 9 years and they have two young daughters.
He is a qualified horticulturist who gave up his job to become a stay at home father (his wife's description) - or as he prefers - a general dog's body who cooks, cleans and runs a taxi service for his two girls.
On leaving school John wanted to train as a chef but was talked out of it by his mother who thought the long hours would ruin his social life.
Now John mixes his passion for food with his passion for good company by throwing dinner parties and proudly claims that, to date, he has never 'poisoned anyone yet'.
