Programme 1
In this programme Niamh Switzer and John Donlon must cook off in Kevin Thornton's restaurant in Dublin for the chance to represent Team Thornton in the Heat Restaurant on Sunday night. Niamh is young and energetic but will her inexperience cost her against former horticulturist John?
Meanwhile in Dunbrody House in Wexford, Kevin Dundon must decide whether photographer and blogger Valerie O'Connor or former company director Paul Sweetman has what it takes to win in a full restaurant. It's first of the quarter finals and both Kevins are hell bent on getting their campaign off to a good start, but who will stand the Heat?
