Hands On

Hands On is back on Sunday 18th November!

Ten brand new programmes will be hitting your screens every Sunday between now and February with loads to look forward to. Tune in every week to find out all the latest on everything from sport, music, education, health, current affairs and much much more! Check out the ISL video promo here.

Our first programme of the series comes to you from Deaf Village Ireland as our reporter Sarah Jane Moloney checks out the eagerly awaited facility. Deaf Village Ireland is home to quite a few of Ireland's Deaf organisations, not to mention state of the art sports facilities and religious, social and heritage facilities for the Deaf and hard of hearing community. You can even find out how to order a coffee in Ireland's first ISL café! Join us behind the scenes to find out how everyone is settling in!

Ciaran Moloney is also on hand to keep us informed on all things sport related. Ciaran will bring us up to date on the plans for next summer's Deaflympics taking place in Bulgaria and asks if the Deaflympics can recover from its recent shaky past. We'll also take a look back at the success of our Irish athletes at the recent London 2012 Games and investigate the possibility of Deaf athletes becoming more involved in future Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Eddie is back for another year of Take 5! - continuing his journey to bring you fascinating interviews with interesting people from both the Deaf and hearing community. First on the couch with Eddie is Wayne Reid, Ironman, RTE news reader and Deaflympian Silver Medallist - he's one of the busiest men we know but he took 5 to fill Eddie in on all he's up to. Hands On is back with a bang - don't miss it!
