Michael (Dougray Scott) goes to see Sean (Reece Noi) and tries to convince him to withdraw his statement. Sean sees this as betraying Stacey (Wunmi Mosaku) - he won't play ball

In order to aid Barrington's (Terence Maynard) escape plan Michael renews acquaintances with a property magnate and former IRA lynchpin Augustine Conlon (Stephen Rea), who can launder the money which Barrington will need.

Anna (Flora Montgomery) is badily shaken up following a visit from two Garda detectives to their home in Wicklow. The pair know all about Michael's recent activities. Frightened Anna decides to fly to Manchester to be with Michael.

However, she only ends up putting herself in greater danger. Michael and herself narrowly escaping injury when the Young South Gang, seeking revenge for Sean shooting one their members, try to kill Michael. Her love for Michael hangs in the balance. In desperation to get Michael back to Ireland and his new life, she makes a dangerous decision to help with the money run - she just wants him home to Ireland.

Stacey visits Barrington in hospital. He tells her they're on their way to St. Lucia. As they kiss seductively we realise they are lovers - working together they have set up Sean and Michael.

Michael is tested when he finds out the location of the Young South gang leader, Jacob King (Dwayne Scantlebury)- what will he do? Will he go back to his old ways and gun him down or will he resist and prove he is a changed man?
