Episode 3

Fresh from the Farmers' Markets is a brand new eight-part series presented by food writer and broadcaster Clodagh McKenna.  The series follows Clodagh around Ireland as she visits farmers' markets, meeting artisan food producers and cooking dishes using ingredients which relate to the producer she has just met.

This week Clodagh visits the farmers' market in Carlow and meets organic meat farmer Jimmy Mulhall.  Later in the kitchen she cooks Rack of Lamb with Tzatzki, a beautiful Cork Beef Stew and a Rabbit Casserole.

Each week Clodagh visits a different farmers' market to meet and introduce the viewers to stall holders.  Concentrating on an individual stall holder's farm or place of work she then interviews them on their product offering.

Then its back to the Village at Lyons in County Kildare where Clodagh uses the particular ingredients she has sourced in creating a menu that the viewers can re-create at home.
